Smart phone apps
Mondo Multi Media specialises in the field of smart phone application development & marketing. Operating systems include iPhone, Android, and Blackberry. We develop for client projects and in-house projects. Smart phone apps can be 100% native to the handset - these apps tend to be smaller and do not require access to the web; OR part native : part web app; in this case the software and database reside on a server - these apps can be very powerful but require access to the web to fully function.
We have apps planned or under development for:
- nutrition & health
- interactive digital content
- lifestyle & fashion
- social networking
- productivity
- sports & activities
- entertainment
- language translation

Web apps
For the end user web apps are essentially the same as apps that are 'native' to the handset (all software residing on the iPhone / smart phone). The fundamental difference is that the software resides on a remote server that is accessed via the web browser that is opened on the handset when an app is launched on the phone. For complex and powerful phone apps it is not possible to have all the software and database on the handset so we develop web apps to support these smart phone applications. Web based FTP clients such as 'Filezilla', for example, are web apps.

Desktop apps
Desktop apps are software that reside on the users computer. Our designers and developers can build desktop apps to your specifications and can also create matching smart phone apps to complement the user experience. PC/Mac native FTP clients such as 'Cyberduck' or 'Transmit', for example, are desktop apps.
